I am a Chartered Tax Adviser and  responsible for all aspects of Alexander Sloan’s corporate and personal tax services. I joined Alexander Sloan as Tax Partner in 2017 having spent almost twenty years in tax practice with two mid-tier firms.

I advise many owner-managed businesses on tax strategies and on the tax implications of company restructuring, succession planning as well as balancing the needs and objectives of the business with aspirations of its owners.

I am also an experienced private client tax adviser and specialist in tax investigation work, representing clients in all types of HMRC enquiry.

I joined Alexander Sloan in 2013 having been a partner in another mid-tier firm for five years.  My client base is diverse and they operate all over the UK.  My extensive experience allows me to provide business coaching services to my clients and assist them in the strategic planning and development of their business.

I believe it’s important to maintain close contact with my clients throughout the year to ensure my understanding of their issues is continually updated.

I sit on the ACCA Scotland Committee.
