RSL Services:

As a firm of Chartered Accountants with a depth of experience in RSL audits we are well positioned to provide help with your finance function. We are currently working with three RSLs in this regard. This involves, amongst other things:

• Preparing monthly or quarterly management accounts
• Preparing finance reports to the management committee
• Completing all necessary returns for Communities Scotland
• Reviewing loan portfolio and arranging re-financing, if appropriate
• Preparing necessary reports to lenders regarding convenants, key ratios etc.
• Training book-keeping staff on entry and transactions and reconciliations

RSLs which are too small to employ a Finance Manager can benefit from a Finance Agency arrangement whereby existing staff deal with day to day transactions, and the Finance Agent assisting will take responsibility for higher level activities.

In addition, if a key member of your finance team is absent for a significant period we can second a member of our experienced RSL staff to keep your finance function running smoothly.
