Alexander Sloan Chartered Accountants have over 25 years of experience in advising Housing Associations. This sector has developed into one of the firms specialisms and we currently carry out the external audit of over 25 Registered Social Landlords (RSL). Most of our partners and audit staff have experience in dealing with RSLs.

Our Housing Association Technical and Training Group co-ordinates and develops our services, keeps partners and staff up to date and assists in making clients aware of opportunities and issues through our Housing Association newsletter. This Group meets regularly and holds internal staff training updates at least twice a year. Through this Group we keep our clients informed of the accounting requirements of changes in developments in the sector.

We keep ourselves abreast of changes within the Housing Association sector, whether it be changes in guidance from Communities Scotland, updating of accounting requirements or legislative changes.
