WHY NOW?

Credit Unions are now required under the FSA regulatory regime to have an internal audit function in place whether performed by the Supervisory Committee or an independent internal auditor like ourselves. In addition, the Management Committee of the credit union has a duty to safeguard the assets of the credit union and an effective internal audit function is an important control in the fulfilment of this duty.
