Charities Services:

Alexander Sloan Chartered Accountants
can deliver an enhanced approach to internal audit, making best
use of our skills and experience.
The benefits for our clients are clear: they are assured a comprehensive
service that combines specific financial and audit expertise, non-financial
internal audit and a breadth of knowledge of the charities sector.
WHY NOW?
Trustees of a charity must ensure that the way in which the charity
is administered is not open to abuse and that their systems of
control are rigorous and constantly maintained. Grant funders will
require certain standards of control to be operating within the
charity. It is therefore good practice for trustees to develop
a system of self-assessment which will ensure the proper operation
of controls within the charity and provide benefits of monitoring
effectiveness of control procedures rather than rely on detection
of errors or non-compliance after the event.
