Allison Devine joined the firm in 1999 after graduating from the University of Strathclyde with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Accounting. Allison qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002 and became an Associate of the firm in 2006. Allison manages a wide range of external audits and is a member of the firm’s Charities’ Technical and Training Group, having extensive experience of working with organisations in the charity sector. Allison has also assisted clients in the development and implementation of financial and reporting systems and control.

Steven Cunningham graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 1999 with a first class B.A.(Hons) in Accountancy and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, becoming an Associate of the firm in 2006. He specialises in external audit and manages a range of the firm’s largest audits including those in the retail, manufacturing and credit union sectors. Steven is a member of the firm’s Technical Committee, responsible for both internal and external training in technical issues.

Phil Morrice joined Alexander Sloan in 1993 and has managed some of the firm’s major clients. He was appointed an Associate of the firm in 2006. Phil’s experience covers both commercial clients in a variety of sectors and clients in our housing association sector, where he has built up an in depth knowledge in both external and internal audit. Phil is responsible for developing the firm’s internal audit programmes and for staff training in this area.
